While intellectual property underpins the modern world, very few people are cross the information they create and how to manage that information in the digital age.
This is critically important where we work as a contractor here, an employee there, employer in other instances and create our own information in our personal life.
Is this service discrete?
Our LinkedIn profile has modest connections to maintain client confidentiality. In engaging with LinkedIn, we consider that linking to other people’s profile would be a breach of confidentiality. This is an important issue for our ASX clients and for large private entities and for their CXOs.
Given our sensitive work and the nature of this service, it was considered prudent to maintain a low profile across the web. This philosophy also underpins our web footprint.
How do you maintain confidentiality?
We do not track web visistors and provide simple points of contact. Accordingly, you will always deal with real people – no bots, no chat, no call centre. In that way there is no information transferred across the Web or shared outside of Digital Executor.
If directed by you, to use the Web for transfer of information, we will negotiate the encrypted service to be used.
How do you protect passwords?
Essentially by NOT collecting your passwords. Our systems and processes do not require you to provide to us the details of the relevant service or the associated password.
We WILL NEVER ask for your password. We do this to ensure integrity and confidence.
Our systems operate independent of your day to day management of your digital profile.
We recognise people depend on public profiles to make decisions. We rely on old school face to face meetings to provide integrity and maintain confidentiality.
What customer information do you retain?
As little as information possible. We negotiate with you to determine:
- the minimal amount of information required to provide the service
- the most effective way to enable access to approved information, in defined events
- how best to implement your requirements, in the defeined circumstances

Based on your digital footprint we will work with you to sort through the various options available to you to curate your on profile . We can assist in preparing the text.
In many cases it is difficult to separate what is your Information, what is material you have access to and what is controlled by third parties. We will work you to prepare you Information and other material to give effect to your requirements.

Maintain
Our service reflects the critical phases of your focus on managing your digital life. This includes:
- ensuring we have your profile and requirements correctly recorded
- liaising with your lawyers to ensure that your Will and your requirements align
- annual check-in to ensure that you are comfortable with your decision
Manage
In some cases, once your access stops, the information will only be accessible by a nominated party or a hacker. In some cases, it might be prudent to remove the material all together. We can access collected material and sort/sift and forward/delete as required.
We will implement your requirements. Specifically, where your will provides specific directions to your Executors, we can ensure that the identified material is secured and made available to your Executors.
Where there is personal information that no longer meets your needs, we can remove the material and any copies in accordance with your requirements.
